Spitfire today launch their BBC Symphonic Orchestra Library – made in partnership with the BBC Symphonic Orchestra (which is kind of a big deal) and recorded at the legendary Maida Vale studios – home of the orchestra for more than 50 years. This facility is being decommissioned so it also represents a snapshot of orchestral recording – being a highly regarded space with its own unique sound.
